The Rector of Harokopio University of Athens, Professor Georgios Dedousis, attended a reception hosted by the Ambassador of the United States to the Hellenic Republic, Kimberly Ann Guilfoyle, in celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Hellenic-U.S. Alumni Association, held on Thursday, December 18, 2025.
As a Fulbright alumnus and member of the Hellenic-U.S. Alumni Association, Professor Georgios Dedousis had the opportunity to engage in discussions with prominent representatives from the diplomatic, academic, and political fields, emphasizing the importance f the relationship between Greece and the United States in the domains of education and research.
During the event, the Rector had the privilege of meeting with the Minister of Education, Religious Affairs, and Sports, Sofia Zacharaki, further strengthening Harokopio University’s collaborative ties with prominent figures in the Greek political landscape.
The Rector extended his sincere gratitude to Ambassador Kimberly Ann Guilfoyle for her warm hospitality at the reception, emphasizing that the event provided a valuable platform for fostering cooperation between alumni and institutions of academic excellence.
